Personalized Shopping Experience

 by Bobbi Jayne Vitale In a perfect world, I could spend hours by myself in one of my favorite stores going through the racks and trying on all of the clothes. But, I’m a mom and I don’t have that luxury! Luckily, I have a place where I can not only be a mom but get my shopping in. I do my best to squeeze in my shopping trips in between drop-off, errands, and pick-up, but sometimes I miss my window and I have one of my boys with me. I had my little tornado with me last time I popped into Teal Turtle, and I was pleasantly surprised. I don’t know why I never noticed it before, but there is a special kids area. Jett just ran right in there and sat down in the chair like he owned the joint! Allison even brought over a juice-box for him (and that gave me another 5 minutes of shopping)! Is there a better place on earth that will give you a kids juice and a momma’s juice? I will give you the answer...No!!!! There is even a place for older kids and husbands to hang out. Perfect Dresses for any Occasion at the Perfect Price!

by Bobbi Jayne Vitale I had a wedding to go to this past weekend and nothing in my closet was screaming out to me, so I went to Teal Turtle on a whim. It just so happened to be their One Year Anniversary celebration (lucky me). There were so many adorable dresses to choose from, but low and behold I found my perfect dress on the BOGO clearance rack. Can life get any better??? I grabbed this adorable green dress and knew it was the one! All I had to add was some basic gold hoops, my spanx, and a normal bra. I got so many compliments on this dress, it was crazy! It was perfect for the wedding because I accessorized it up, but I could easily throw on a cute pair of flip-flops and wear it to brunch or a low key dinner. I just love the fact that I can walk into Teal Turtle with a purpose and come out with exactly what I need (and for a reasonable price)! Is Lilly Pulitzer Basic??

by Bobbi Jayne Vitale Before you send the mob on me, please hear me out. I am a self proclaimed Lilly Pulitizer lover. I love the beautiful prints and vibrant colors. Who doesn’t? Back in the day, if you walked into a room and were wearing a Lilly P dress you stood out. Now, look around, someone else in the room is wearing Lilly. It is no longer the standout it once was. Don’t get me wrong, I have a closet full of the clothes and I love every piece. I shop the After Party Sale just like every other girl, and grab it up if I see it at TJ Maxx or a consignment shop. But, now when I want to stand out in a crowd I don’t reach for my Lilly pieces.  At a baby shower, and everyone is in Lilly. I’m actually shocked that no one was wearing the same print. Last week while I was watching the FB Live show, Teal Turtle Boutique owner, Allison Nelson said something that made my ears perk up. Holiday Earrings are the New Holiday Pins

by Bobbi Jayne Vitale  As I’m getting my boys class Valentine’s Day cards ready for school this week, I think back to getting my own Valentine’s Day cards ready back in the 80’s and 90’s. Those were the days...all of our mom’s decked out in their holiday outfits that were accented by cool holiday pins. I called my mom and asked her about her holiday pin collection, and she said that she had at least 10 for each holiday (now I know where I get my shopping habits from).  (Pins from my mom’s collection) Well...now we are in the 2020's and we have to adapt. What’s a mom to do??? Go get some adorable holiday earrings! I found these delightful Gnome earrings. I don’t know what says Happy Valentine’s Day more than a pair of Gnome’s driving in a car with hearts on their hats earrings????   If Gnomes aren’t your thing, any heart earrings will do!
